Onsite openings for Finance Advisor –Shell-China

Responsibilities: 
·         Assist the Deputy Controller in coordinating perform review of reports before submission to local Boards, Group and Statutory bodies including liaison with relevant authorities where needed.
·         Perform statutory report and government compliance for individual legal entities.
·         Support Deputy Controller in overseeing planning and appraisal exercises.
·         Guide effective and efficient cost recovery process in the country.
·         Requires an individual from the accounting profession who has excellent technical knowledge & experience and strong influencing and communication skills to engage with local Class of Business finance managers on Downstream financial performance, accounting and financial reporting issues and the related control environment.
·         Ensuring timely, accurate and reliable financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements within a robust financial control framework.


Requirements: 
• Degree in the areas of Finance or Accounting and professional certification(s) (CPA, ACCA or CIMA) preferred with at least 5 years experience.
• Strong technical knowledge, analytical skills and experience to provide accounting and financial advice to finance colleagues and managers.
• Highly disciplined in meeting deadlines and ability to deliver results under pressure.
• Team work focused to deliver results and meeting business needs.
• Motivation and drive to deliver changes, to improve processes and results.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with local teams and virtual team in Finance Operations and relevant stakeholders at Group level.
• SAP knowledge and controls.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively with different cultures in a D&I compliant manner.
• Fluent Spoken/Written Chinese/English skills.
