Responsibilities:
· Corporation communication (CX) team to focus on strategy and planning of the CX activities in country, supporting the CX Director on the overall reputation management in China.
· Develop, manage and implement integrated and value adding communications strategies and action plans to support an integrated downstream (DS) project in China. Including but not limited to formulating and implementing a clearly defined communications strategy targeting both internal and external stakeholders on issues that can otherwise hinder the development of the Project; The CX role will also manage social impacts and community issues.
· The DS integrated project: Developing overall project communications strategy and plan in line with the project development phases.
· Detailed stakeholder mapping and engagement plan to manage issues of critical importance to the project.
· Driving the stakeholder engagement with project partners, local government and communities.
· Working closely with project HSSE on the project EHSIA and to implement recommendations from EHSIA.
· Corporate Communications: Managing corporate communications programmes to make sure consistent and coherent delivery of positive messages in China, including China reputation strategy and action plan, external communications (speeches, narratives, messages) and issue management focal point.
Requirements:
· At least 8-10 years’ practical and hands-on communications experience, including management.
· Ability to write colloquially in Chinese and English.
· Good business knowledge and sense.
· Entrepreneurial mindset.
· Experience in energy and/or petrochemicals industry an advantage.
· Degree at university level.
