Responsibilities:

This position requires an immediate and significant contribution to provide technical leadership to QA engineers to research and write test strategy documents, design, develop and execute test cases to cover functional, scalability, performance and characterization for the specific features. The QA Lead will bridge test gaps and provide pragmatic methodology to execute complete code coverage with efficiency. The lead will also be responsible for searching for new tools and

automation techniques to improve interoperability, system and automated execution of tests. The engineer will also be required to perform functional test, automation, system, integration and regression testing.  The lead will work closely with developer leads to ensure ample coverage in problem recreation, debug/isolation, troubleshooting and bug verification. Clearly track test progress to plan, conveys results, forward forecast areas of risk and provide mitigation plans. Create and maintain automation tests environment to execute redundant manual testing for improved efficiency.

Requirements:

·         8+ years of industry experience in QA Networking and Internet applications.

·         Able to provide motivating technical leadership to local and internationally based QA peers

·         Strong knowledge of L4-L7 Application Protocols (HTTP, FTP), Voice over IP, Video and Vulnerability/Malware.

·         Strong knowledge in configuring and debugging large scale test beds – i.e. Cisco, Juniper router/switches, Firewall/load balancers, and IPS/IDS devices

·         Ability to prioritize workload, balancing different projects, to be able to meet deadlines

·         Very strong QA Skills: Able to take documented and undocumented technical specs from development and translate them into feature and system integration test strategies and test plans

·         Experience in supporting customer engagements is a plus

·         Excellent skills for proper bug reporting, bug debugging and isolation, helping development in identifying the root cause and verification

·         Must be able to incorporate a customer-focused perspective when designing/executing tests and test plans.

·         Solid understanding of product development lifecycle.

·         Detail understanding of Tcl/Tk, Perl and GUI Automation

·         Provide feedback on the functional/design specification to align with the customer expectation

·         MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Networking field.

·         Strong preference to at least a CCNA with CCIE being ideal
